So I have installed my Technet copy of Windows Vista on my Home Machine and it does feel a little like this video when you are first setting it up.
The new system called User Account Control (UAC), asks you before you perform system changes, like changing Time, Installing Drivers, and deleting software.
The problem is that it's quite persistent; when you are first setting up your machine it feels like you computer does not want to do anything without your explicit permission. I understand why it happens, but man is it annoying! Also though I have not seen the problem yet it seems that if you have iTunes copy protected music from the iTunes Music store you have to do some jigery pokeriey to make iTunes play the music, This prompted Apple to tell iTunes users "Not install Vista yet". Another sample of why DRM just does not work, and just annoys end users.
